Illuminare
and other winter anthems
Valley Choral Society presents the season opening concert to their 42nd season with Illuminare at Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. Illuminare is Elaine’s first extended work, consisting of five movements for SATB chorus and chamber orchestra. Using lesser-known sacred Latin, Greek, and English texts, the piece takes us through a season of beauty and goodness that has been disrupted by darkness and confusion. But as Light gradually returns, hope is restored, illuminating our future and guiding us in peace!

Christmas Carols Like You’ve Never Heard Them Before! Enjoy our 2024 Winter Concert! Valley Choral Society presents the season opening concert to their 41st season with RE:Imagined at Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie.
